Rachel Orji is a choreographer, dancer, writer, and multimedia artist investigating how music enlivens physical and digital spaces. Rachel is trained in Horton and Graham techniques alongside over a decade of ballet training. She was accepted into New York University’s Future Dancers and Dancemakers program where she studied choreography, composition, and improvisation. She has had the privilege of being in process with artists such as Sidra Bell, Mark Caserta, Tiffany Rea-Fisher, and Mark Haim. She will graduate in May 2023 with a BFA in Dance and a photography minor from The University of The Arts under the direction of Donna Faye Burchfield. In November 2022 she premiered her most recent choreographic work “called.” in UArts’ YGym Dance Theater.
